Our Bubble Babies class helps our newest little swimmers become comfortable in and around the water. Songs and games introduce beginner swim skills (such as kicking, splashing, and blowing bubbles) and create a fun, positive experience for young children in the pool. For children 6mo-2yrs with their grownup.

Bubble Babies classes are FREE for Center Family Members.

If your little one loves to play with water, bring them poolside to the Splash Pad! Here, your kids can suit up for interactive play with our assortment of water tables and pool toys, without entering the pool. Parents and caregivers are not required to suit up or get wet, but must be present on the pool deck and directly supervise their child during playtime.

With toys, climbing structures, a book corner and a helpful staff, the clubhouse is a wonderful cozy place to spend time moving, learning and making friends in an open setting.

Our Science Lab has a secret; it's the home to Manhattan Youth's Animals! In Animal Hour, kids can see, hold, feed and learn about our resident turtle, fish and bearded dragons with our staff.

Our littlest members in their very own class! A little movement, exercise and bonding for 4 - 12 months and their grownups.

Mini muscles and mini movements for little ones that help them learn the fundamentals of soccer. Offered on our summer schedule at the BPC Ballfields!

Tennis Tikes

MY Tennis classes provide a fun environment that will help 3 and 4 year olds to establish a base for gross motor and athletic skill development.

In the Summer: Tennis Tikes classes are included with Membership and take place at the BPC ballfields on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

In the Fall: Tennis Classes are offered in small groups on Sunday Mornings in our Activity Room.

During the Fall and Winter, classes are by semester based registration and only for members.

Registration opens each October.

5 and 6 Years

Tennis Aces

During Tennis Aces, our instructors introduce children to the game of tennis in a fun and supportive way using scaled down courts and equipment. Classes will use a games based approach to tennis instruction while also stressing the continued development of no only tennis skills but also motor and athletic skills.

Tumble Tot Thursdays give your children introductions to coordination, strength building and flexibility all morning long! Toddlers can learn basic gymnastics fundamentals with their favorite MY teachers!

Thursdays

Go on an adventure in each class as we stretch, breathe and move, feeling peaceful and calm! We use our senses and our breath to move our body, and discover what it really feels like to ground to the earth like the roots of a flower.

Wednesdays in the Activity Room

Get up and Dance!

Join Manhattan Youth staff for smiles, music, wiggles and fun. Using small props to make music, we'll wave our arms, stomp our feet, and enjoy a family dance party together. A perfect way to begin a Monday morning!

Join us at the Center after lunch and naps for art projects, rainy day movies, sensory play and more!

Every weekday afternoon, 2:30 - 4:30pm

When naptime is finished and dinnertime is still a few hours away, spend some of that special and energetic time with us in our largest meeting space, the Great Hall! We’ll feature one of our favorite kids music acts so kids can sing, run, jump and play, and the whole family can enjoy music, laughter and fun, together.

Add your personal flair to a new original community mural project each week! Handprints, brush strokes, drawing and expressive scribbling encouraged!

In Sensory Ceramics, you and your child will use air dry clay and art supplies to make a ceramic creation as unique as you!

Prince is one of our favorite teachers at the Center! Every weekday afternoon you can join him (location announced daily!) for games, stories, projects and open play.

Make a Mess Science for our youngest members lets them use all their senses to explore the world, experiement with new colors, ideas and materials, and have so much fun!

Join us for messy fun classes in cooking, science and art, and leave the clean up to us!

Science becomes fun in this class that helps children develop their scientific mind. Let your child explore their curiosity by engaging the senses. They’ll learn about colors, shapes, textures, and more through a different project each class.

Getting Messy with paint, color and other materials is one of the most fun ways to create and learn for little ones 12 -17 months.  In our Art room, your little one will participate in a special 30 minute version of our popular Make a Mess Art class, made especially for them.

Thursdays 9:30AM in our Art Room  You may register either for the entire semester or up to two days in advance as a drop in, daily.

Spend an hour with your whole family in our ceramics studio. You can be led through a project or simply work on your own handbuilding project with access to our full ceramics studio. All pieces will remain in the studio to be fired and will be ready for pick up within two weeks time. All work is non-toxic and food-safe. All ages!
