The Tritons Swim Team is unique in that we are not part of a league and we do not swim against other teams. The Tritons hold inter-team meets several times per year, in our home pool at the Downtown Community Center.

Through our recreational program, swimmers grades 3rd-8th experience a positive, social team environment while developing an understanding of self-competition personal goal-setting.

We do not believe that team swimming is only for those destined to become collegiate or Olympic athletes. We believe that all swimmers should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop their sport and their passion. With the support of our experienced coaches, Tritons swimmers have consistently shown improvement in technique, stamina, and speed, consistently accomplishing personal best times. 

Our goal, however, is not strictly to develop fast swimmers. Our goal is to develop great student-athletes and well-rounded young adults, who can balance schoolwork, practices, and a variety of other activities - all with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, respect for themselves and others, and support from their team, coaches, and parents.
