Manhattan Youth Downtown Basketball League

For more than 30 years, the Downtown Basketball League has run kids' basketball programs. Our league and clinics provide a safe, fun, and educational experience for children. They also provide an opportunity for children to develop the fundamental skills of basketball, build self-confidence, and learn the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. 

 

The Downtown Basketball League has divisions for boys in grades 2 through 7. It also has divisions for girls in grades 2 through 5. In addition to our league play, we offer clinics which help develop a player's basketball skills. Clinics are offered to girls and boys in grades 1 through 5. November and December are dedicated to skill building activities and scrimmages for children. In January, teams are formed.

 

Due to school gym schedules, some spaces/times are still to be determined. This space will be updated as we know more.

 

Basketball League begins the week of November 6th

Basketball Clinics begin Saturday, November 9th
