Manhattan Youth Gives Back

As a non-profit, Manhattan Youth understands the importance of generosity and supporting organizations that bring good into the world.  We are so grateful to our friends and community members who give so generously with us so that we may continue to support the children and families who are with us every day. 

We also strongly believe in giving back to  organzations that inspire us and make the world a better place. Over the last few years, Manhattan Youth has supported the following organizations. When you give to Manhattan Youth, you may be happy to know that you are helping to support the good work that they do.

 

WestLight Solar:  WestLight Solar is a community benefit organization in rural Western Kenya, purposed to raise awareness for renewable energy technoloiges. Westlight Solar provides solar powered lanterns and clean cooking stoves to vulnerable families without access tothe electricity grid. They also work with STEM schools to teach community development, enrich scientific education and promote environmental conservation. 

 

Single Parent Resource Center: The Single Parent Reserouce Center, Inc., is the only comprehensive agency devoted solely to providing programs for not only over 2,000 of New York City's single parent families annually, but also to thousands of families from all around the country and around the world.  Services are available to all single parents, including those who are living in transitional housing; struggling with substance abuse; or have been released from incarceration.

 

Associacion Comunitaria, Llanos Tuna, Puerto Rico  is a non-profit organization that provides workshops, guidance, services and support to the surrounding community.  While they do not have a website, you may visit their facebook page.
