1 WEEK FILM INTENSIVE
The one-week filmmaking workshops are fast-paced, intense and collaborative. In each group, 10-12 students work together to develop a story, from concept to screenplay, and produce an original short film. The collaborative process results in dynamic, original projects that could not have come from one mind alone. The incredibly short turnaround time - five days from concept to screening - creates the kind of high-energy environment that forges strong friendships and creative partnerships.
Film will be screened every Friday at IS 289 Auditorium, 201 Warren St. NY, NY 10282
4 WEEK MUSICAL THEATER INTENSIVE
Waterwell's Summer Theater Intensive will provide intensive, conservatory style training to middle school students looking to expand their musical theater skills.  Along with taking classes in acting, singing, and dancing, students will have the opportunity to devise, rehearse and perform an original musical.  The staff will be comprised of professional teaching artists who have a strong background in the professional theater world.  Students will also have the opportunity to work with a professional playwright, take master classes with top quality Broadway artists, and have two public performances of their original musical. *Audition Required
Musical Show on Friday, August 3rd at IS 289 Auditorium, 201 Warren St. NY, NY 10282

PECK SLIP SCHOOL
2 WEEK BIG APPLE CIRCUS INTENSIVE (FIRST 2 WEEKS ONLY)
Our third summer of Circus! Instructors will provide an exclusive circus experience for Manhattan Youth Middle School students! Professional performers from this world-renowned circus troupe have developed an interactive weeklong workshop where students learn to tumble, juggle, spin plates, hula hoop, perform clown skits, slapstick, acrobatics and aerial techniques. In addition to developing the essential skills required by circus performers, students will build a sense of teamwork, trust, perseverance and responsible risk-taking.  At the end of each of the 2 weeks students will perform a spectacular circus show full of joy and wonder. It is a 2 week commitment.
Circus Performance at Peck Slip School on Friday, July 20th

SPRUCE ST.SCHOOL
1 WEEK CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY INTENSIVES (LAST 2 WEEKS ONLY)
Partnering with CultureHub students will develop technology projects in one week to present to family and friends! In this workshop, students will learn computer programming for creative storytelling. Students will learn the fundamentals of computer software and hardware, file types and folder structure, variables, loops, and if statements. Students will learn to use Raspberry Pi (a small Linux computer) and Processing (Programming language for creative expression).  There will be fun activities in class with body movements, game and storytelling exercises. At the end of the workshop, students will present their projects.
